LCSC:
Played in 29 and started 17
games in 2010 and had the
fifth highest average on the
team at .352…went 32-for-91
with 16 runs, 10 doubles,
and 16 RBI…had a season-high
four hits and three runs
against Concordia…filled in
at multiple positions in the
infield and spent most of
his playing time at second
base…had 30 putouts and 49
assists with a .919 fielding
percentage…was
one of only two true
freshmen to see playing time
in 2009...started nine
games, most of them at
second base, but was
regularly used as both a
courtesy runner and
pinch-runner throughout the
season...was used as a
pinch-runner during two of
the three Avista NAIA World
Series games and scored a
run.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Played shortstop for Lake
City High School and earned
three varsity letters…his
team won the state
championship in 2007, and
his Legion team finished
third at state three
times…high school baseball
accolades include being
named first-team all-league
two years, earning the
Newcomer of the Year award,
and being named team captain
twice…also earned two
varsity letters in
basketball and was team
captain his senior year.
