REDDING, Calif. - Sunday's scheduled NAIA West baseball game between Lewis-Clark State and Simpson was cancelled because of rain. The contest will not be made up.
LCSC, which leads the conference with a 9-2 mark and is 18-5 overall, will return to action at home for a four-game series with College of Idaho starting on Friday at Harris Field. The two teams meet at 6 p.m. Friday, in a 1 p.m. doubleheader on Saturday, and then in a single game at 1 p.m. on Sunday.
College of Idaho is 3-1 in league and 16-6 overall.
LCSC will actually play eight games in six days as it will follow the four-game series against the Yotes with a four-game series against Embry Riddle.
