LEWISTON, Idaho – Both games of Wednesday’s doubleheader between Lewis-Clark State College and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University were cancelled because of rain. The contests will not be made up.
The series, originally scheduled for four games, will end at 1-1 as the Warriors fell in the first game on Monday but rallied to win the second game on Tuesday.
Lewis-Clark State, ranked No. 11 in the NAIA, stands at 21-8 overall, while No. 5 Embry-Riddle is 25-8. The Warriors now hold an all-time record of 4-4 against the Eagles.
After playing on five straight days, LCSC will get a little break before opening its next series against the University of British Columbia in Vancouver on March 30.
