JUNIOR COLLEGE:
Attended Ranger College in
Texas for two years where he
was an outfielder, catcher
and utility player…was
co-captain of the team his
sophomore year…during
sophomore year he hit .278
(30-of-108) with six
doubles…he also stole two
bases and drove in 20
runs…in his first season at
Ranger, he hit .281 with one
double, two triples and 10
RBI…also stole three
bases…earned academic
all-conference honors and
made the Dean’s List all
four semesters at Ranger
College…finished with a 3.80
GPA and won Presidential
Scholar honors.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Attended North Delta and
graduated in June of
2007…played outfield,
catcher and third base in
baseball and earned two
letters…one of his coaches
was former Warrior standout
Dennis Springenatic…also
played safety and wide
receiver in football where
he earned three letters…was
captain of the baseball team
his senior year and
co-captain of the football
team…earned first-team
all-conference honors in
baseball as a senior and won
the team’s Top Defensive
Player Award in football
that year as well.
PERSONAL:
Born Nov. 19, 1989 in
Surrey, B.C. to Wayne and
Paula McLeod…has one
brother, Tyler…is majoring
in Kinesiology…hobbies
include lifting weights,
playing guitar, and
cooking…played for the
Langley Senior Blaze in 2009
and had a record 15-game
hitting streak.
