bullpen before 2012 season
was cut short with injury in
mid-February…Earned lone

JUNIOR COLLEGE:
Attended
College of Southern Idaho in
Twin Falls for two seasons
for coach Boomer
Walker…Named Reliever of the
Year during his freshman
season when he posted a
league-best 1.09 earned run
average and had 49
strikeouts in 34
innings…Freshman season he went
1-4 with 21 appearances, all
but one in relief… He had
one save and pitched 27
innings with 31 strikeouts.
ERA was at 7.00.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Attended
Spanish Fork High and
graduated in 2009…Earned two
letters in baseball as a
pitcher and also played on
the golf team where he
earned three
letters…Baseball team won
the state title his freshman
and senior seasons…As a
senior, he posted the lowest
ERA in the state…Played
baseball and golf
simultaneously…Helped the
golf team to four league
titles.

Duffin and Kim Mattinson…has
two brothers, Jordunn and
Lewis Mattinson, and one

Duffin…hobbies include golf,
