Academic Information: Graduated from LCSC in 1983 with a Physical Education degree, and later graduated from California State University-Fresno with a Teaching Credential (1991)

Update: Mike works as a teacher/coach, has three children, and resides in San Francisco, California.

Bill Hayne

Baseball career description: Played on 1978 World Series team and placed third.

Academic Information: Graduated from LCSC in 1979 with a degree in Behavioral Sciences (Psychology). Later earned an MS in Health at Central Washington University (1992).

Update: Bill is a Field Experience Director/Instructor at Lewis-Clark State College; Division of Eduction. He and his wife, Jennifer, have four children, Tashina (21), Taleah (18), Joshua (16), Johannah (13).

Baseball career description: Was a left-handed pitcher. "Through my baseball career at LCSC I experienced growth as a person and as an athlete."

Academic Information: Graduated from LCSC in 1982 with a BS in business administration.

Update: Dean is a business owner employed by Exterior Design Landscaping Inc. and Performance Irrigation LLC. He and his wife, Susie Mooser Hedges, reside in Louisville, Kentucky, and have two sons, Samuel (7) and Joseph (5).

 Chuck Higson

Baseball career description: As a pitcher, Higson was a part of the 1985 NAIA Championship team.

Update: Chuck and his wife, Kim, have two sons, Derek (9) and Jonas (4), and one daughter, Chandler (6). He works as a transportation analyst employed by Wal-Mart.

 Scott Hormel

Baseball career description: Played in the 1984 NAIA World Series, and helped the Warriors win their first national championship ever.

Update: Currently, Dr. Hormel is working as an Orthopedic Physician
Assistant in Seattle Washington. He and his wife, Shari, have two sons, Tyler and Trevor, and two daughters, Kasey and Andi.
 

 Mike House

Years as a Warrior: 1986, 1987

Baseball career description: "After transferring to Hawaii Pacific College in 1987, I was able to turn my career around. I was drafted in the 18th round in 1989 by the Minnesota Twins and played in the Appalachian League, winning the batting title and leading the league in RBI's. I played in a total of four seasons in professional baseball, with roughly 600 at bats, a .312 average, 22 home runs and 125 RBI."

Academic Information: Transferred from LCSC to Hawaii Pacific and graduated in 1989 with a BA in business and a BS in liberal arts.
 

Update: A self-employed insurance and real estate consultant, Mike and his wife Kathryn (a Washington State University graduate), reside in Las Vegas, Nevada. They have one son named, Jake. "Jake, born in 1998, was a slow starter in baseball but has steadily been improving."

Shannon Hunt

Baseball career description: "I remember how hard Ed worked to get the team ready to play. How he paid so much attention to detail, and how efficient he was. It was economy in motion. I am honored to have met and played for him--without question the best coach of all time."

Academic Information: Graduated from California State University-Chico in 1994 with a Masters in Physical Education.

Update: Shannon serves as the head baseball coach at El Paso Community College. He and his wife, Dawn, reside in Horizon City, Texas, and have a six-year-old son named Will.
