BOUNTIFUL, Utah -- With strong showings by their top
players, the Lewis-Clark State men's and women's golf teams both claimed second
in the latest Frontier Conference tournament. During Tuesday's third and final
round, the Warriors' Ilka Loubser fired a 79 to finished with a 238, the top
women's score. Loubser was two shots better than second-place Amber Griffith of
Rocky Mountain. On the men's side, LCSC's Jeff Smith recorded a 220 to tie for
second. But Smith was still 10 shots behind medalist Nathan Bailey of Rocky
Mountain. The Warrior women finished 28 shots behind RMC while the men trailed
the Bears by 11 strokes.

Medalist -- Nathan Bailey, RMC, 210.
