Warriors named to West All-Region Golf Team

The men’s 2005 West All-Region (Region I-Region III) golf team was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America, with two Warriors receiving accolades.

Jeff Thoeny, a junior from Woodland, WA, was one of the Warriors selected.  Thoeny, a transfer from Boise State University, joined the team in the fall of 2004.  Last fall Thoeny won medalist honors for shooting the best score at the Victoria Turkey Shootout.  He again was the top shooter this spring at L-C’s hosted tournament on April 11-12^th. 

Also selected to the list was senior Aaron Curtis.  Curtis, from Twin Falls, ID, played consistent golf through the duration of the 2004-05 season.  In his second year at L-C, Curtis helped the Warrior golf program win its first ever Region I golf title.
