Warriors nab seconds at FL tourney

BUTTE, Mont. -- Lewis-Clark State's teams both held on to their second-place
spots to finish behind Rocky Mountain in the Frontier Conference meet at Butte
Country Club.
The women's team shot a 338 on the final 18 holes to finish with 990 for the
54-hole meet. Rocky Mountain fired a 321 to end with 945.
L-C's men shot 290 for an 869 total, 10 strokes behind Rocky Mountain, which had
287 on the day.
L-C's Katie Fuqua, playing unattached, was fourth individually, carding an 80 for a total of 244. The Warriors' top team player was Nikki Olson, who was fifth with 85, 245 total.
Marc Vedder led the Warrior men, grabbing the No. 2 spot with a second-round
72 for 212 overall. Aaron Curtis was tied for fifth, also with a 72 to end up
with 215.
