VICTORIA, British Columbia -- Led by Jeff Thoeny's first-place performance, the Lewis-Clark State men's golf team nabbed third place in the Turkey Shoot-Out Invitational, which wrapped up Tuesday.
After shooting a 71 and 67 in Monday's rounds, Thoeny posted a 70 on Tuesday. He was three strokes better than runner-up Brandon Melville of Oklahoma Christian.
The LCSC women also finished third. Due to a computer error at the University of Victoria, complete women's results were not available.
