SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- With all five of its players make their debut at the NAIA national tournament, the Lewis-Clark State women's golf team settled into 15th place with a first-round 342. The Warriors were led by freshman Nicole Olson, who shot an 81. L-C's lineup included two other freshman, a sophomore and a senior. "When you get freshman girls out there, they're a little nervous," L-C assistant coach Steve Tilden said. "They're ready to play good tomorrow. Maybe we can climb closer to the top 10." The Warriors could easily make up ground today. They are nine shots behind eighth-place Berry. This four-round tournament is taking place at Blackthorn Golf Club.
