L-C men win Rocky Mountain tourney

BILLINGS, Mont. -- The Lewis-Clark
State men's golf team added to its lead in the final round and
cruised to victory Tuesday in a tournament staged by Rocky
Mountain College.
L-C posted a third-round score
of 279 for a total of 844, 11 strokes better than second-place
Montana Tech. The Warriors' Jeff Thoeny, Shawn Krahling and Mark
Vedder finished third, fifth and sixth, respectively.
The L-C women placed second
behind Rocky Mountain. The Warriors' Nikki Olson tied for second
while Samara Kluever was sixth.
