One of two freshmen on the team, Norris is expected to compete for a varsity position this fall...She graduated from high school in 2006 and spent the last year working on her game, which included playing in several tournaments in both British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest...She has competed in the Canadian Junior Girls National Tournament twice and also represented Team British Columbia in PNGA match play events.

PERSONAL: Born May 29, 1989 to Bruce and YunYe Norris. She has a sister, Erin 

GOLF HIGHLIGHTS: Was the Nanaimo Junior Club Champion and winner of the Dawn Coe-Jones Junior Open in 2007, and competed in the Canadian Women’s Amateur in 2006 

MAJOR: Kinesiology with a Minor in Business 

HOBBIES: Golf and yoga 

GOAL AFTER GRADUATION: To obtain my CPGA teaching card and to travel
