LCSC men’s golf team climbs to No. 15
in Golf World/NIKE poll

NEW YORK – The
Lewis-Clark State College men’s golf team jumped to No.
15 in the third
Golf World/Nike
Golf NAIA Coaches’ Poll of the fall season, which was
released on Tuesday.
The Warriors, who
were not ranked previously, made the biggest jump in the
poll. Fellow Frontier Conference member Rocky Mountain
also made a big jump from not being ranked to No. 17.
After three conference matches, Rocky Mountain leads
LCSC in the conference title chase. Two spring matches
remain to decide the conference title, including one
tournament in Lewiston.
Oklahoma City remains
the top team, earning four of the five first place
votes. Rounding out the top-five are Oklahoma Christian,
British Columbia, Wayland Baptist, and Berry.
The Warriors have added
a fall match to the schedule and will complete play on
Nov. 3 against Corban College in an 18-hole match played
at the Wild Horse Golf Course in Pendleton, Ore.
