The Lewis-Clark State College men’s and women’s golf teams outshot North Idaho College in a nonconference event at the Quail Ridge Golf Course in Clarkston, Wash. on Monday. LCSC’s men’s team overcame the NIC men 290-299, while the Warrior women won 334-409.
Nik Arrenbrecht and Scott Mooney led the Warrior men, as they both shot 70 on the day. NIC’s Cody Mee took the individual title with a score of 67.
The LCSC women were led by Sue James who shot a tournament leading 80. She was followed closely by teammate Cortney Shrout who ended the day with an 81.
The Warriors have only one event left before the fall portion of the 2008-2009 season is complete. LCSC will travel to Sequim, Wash. to participate in the Vikes Shootout on Oct. 13-14.
