The Lewis-Clark State College men's golf team stands in second place while the women are in third after the opening day of the LCSC Invitational at the Clarkston Golf & Country Club on Monday.
The University of Victoria fired a team scor of 284 over 18 holes to take the lead on the men's side, while the Concordia University of Portland holds the women's team lead with a 322 score.
The final 18 holes will be played on Tuesday starting with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.
The LCSC men are nine shots behind Victoria at 293, while the LCSC women trail Concordia and Victoria (326) with a 340 score.
