LCSC Career: One of three Warriors to redshirt last season to concentrate on her school work… During her junior year, Katie played on the varsity in the first half of the last season after having a solid sophomore campaign where she placed eighth in the Frontier Conference Tournament. She also tied for 18th at the regional championship... She started off solid as a freshman with a fourth-place finish in a tournament at Montana Tech... She also tied for eighth at the University of Victoria Invitational

PERSONAL: Born July 9, 1986, to Michele and Rick Fuqua, and has two sisters, Maggie and Marye… Attended Cheney High School where she was the golf team’s MVP her final three seasons… She placed second in the East Valley Invitational, third in the WIGA District Tournament, and seventh in the Big East Tournament… Earned four letters in golf

GOLF HIGHLIGHTS: Finishing fourth with a 244 at a conference tournament at Montana Tech and tying for eighth at the Victoria Invite… Her strong finishes in tournaments her sophomore and freshmen years...also being named Cheney High’s outstanding golfer three consecutive years
