LCSC CAREER: Could wind up being the most accomplished player in the program. Was LCSC’s top scorer in every tournament but the season opener last year and earned first-team All-Frontier Conference honors for the third straight year… Earned medalist honors at two tournaments, including the LCSC Invitational, and placed seventh at the Region I tourney… Was named the conference’s Player of the Year and an NAIA All American as a sophomore… During her sophomore year, she led LCSC in five tournaments and was the top scorer in all but two meets.. She joined the team at semester break as a freshman, but wound up third at the Region I tournament.

 

PERSONAL: Born Aug. 4, 1987 to Sergio and Maria Villa….has one brother, Felipe… Attended Marymount School where she graduated with honors… Has continued her academic excellence by being named to either President’s or Dean’s List every semester at LCSC.

 

GOLF HIGHLIGHTS: Placing second at the Columbia national tournament in 2002, winning the Frontier Conference title twice, finishing third overall at regionals twice, and placing 10th at the NAIA national tournament in 2006.

 

MAJOR: Biology with a Pre-Med emphasis

HOBBIES: Golf, reading, dancing, exercise, traveling, watching movies, and learning

GOAL AFTER GRADUATION: To go to medical school
