Drew Reinland, a senior at Walla Walla High School, has signed a letter-of-intent to play for the Lewis-Clark State College men’s golf team next fall, Warrior coach Paul Thompson has announced.
Reinland is the son of Walla Walla Community College men’s basketball coach and athletic director Jeff Reinland. His mother is Marti Reinland, and his brother Maxton played golf for Washington State University.
Drew has played on the Walla Walla High golf team for the past three seasons and was the 2008 Columbia Basin League Player of the year. Last year, he earned first-team all-Big Nine League honors and was the district champion. He also tied for second at the Washington State Men’s Amateur Tournament during the summer. He also won the Walla Walla All-City Golf Championship title.
Drew plans to major in Business at LCSC with the goal of working in the golf profession after graduation.
