HAYDEN LAKE, Idaho - The Lewis-Clark State College women's golf team was in first place, while the men stood second, after the first round of the North Idaho College Invitational held Sunday at Avondale Golf Club.
The Warrior women shot a team score of 260 to stand first after the first 18 holes. The final 18 holes are scheduled for Monday.
LCSC's Cortney Shrout shot the low round of the day on the women's side with an 81. She was followed by Sue James, who had an 88 in the blustery conditions.
The Warrior men shot a 307 to stand in second place. Connor McCracken led LCSC with a 75.
