The Lewis-Clark State College women’s golf team moved up one spot to No. 20 in the fourth NAIA Women’s Golf Coaches’ Top 25 poll, which was released on Friday.

The Warriors, who finished second to Rocky Mountain in the Frontier Conference regular season standings, drew 155 points to tie Shorter College of Georgia for the No. 20 spot. Rocky Mountain is ranked No. 14, down one spot from the previous poll.
After spending three consecutive polls at No. 2, Embry-Riddle (Fla.) moved into the top spot with seven first-place votes to total 398 points. Second-ranked Oklahoma City earned six first-place votes, but is two points back with 396 points. No. 3 British Columbia, who also received a pair of first-place votes, and No. 4 California Baptist held steady, while Concordia (Ore.) moved up one spot to No. 5.

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, independents and unaffiliated groups. The final poll will be announced on May 7.
