Lewis-Clark State College junior Connor McCracken was named to the 2010 NAIA Men’s Golf All-America third team, marking the second straight year the Eagle, Idaho product has earned national honors.
McCracken, the two-time Frontier Conference champion, was a second-team selection a year ago.
This season, McCracken played in 22 rounds prior to the NAIA national tournament and had a stroke average of 72.1. He placed in the top 10 at every tournament but one and won medalist honors at the third conference tournament of the season. He was fourth and fifth in the other two conference tournaments and then had rounds of 65, 72, 69 and 69 for a 13-under-par 275 at the conference’s postseason tournament.
McCracken finished in a tie for 49th place at the NAIA national tournament last week.
