The Lewis-Clark State College women’s golf team has signed two recruits for the 2010-11 season in Kelsey Dutton of Deer Park, Wash., and Brooke Dagner of Sonoma, Calif.
Both will be freshmen at LCSC.
Dutton is a three-time all-Great Northern League selection and won the conference tournament title her final two seasons at Deer Park High School. This past season, she placed at the Washington State Class 2A Girls Tournament as she had rounds of 82 and 85 at the Apple Tree Golf Resort in Yakima. She placed 15th at State as a junior and also was 35th as a freshman.
Dagner graduated from Sonoma Valley High and won the Sonoma County League individual girls’ title her final two seasons. She also placed second in the North Coast Sectional Regional Qualifying Tournament and just missed qualifying for the NorCal Tournament. As a sophomore, Dagner was an All-League and All-Empire selection as well as a North Coast Section qualifier.
Dagner had an 8 handicap and this past season her tournament average was a 75. She also hits her driver approximately 230 yards.
