LCSC CAREER:
Had another solid season
playing on the varsity
during his junior year and
wound up fifth overall in
the conference scoring race,
which earned him
all-conference honors…
Started the fall off by
placing second overall and
being the top scorer on the
team at the Carroll
Invitational with a 218… He
then finished 2-under-par
for a 212 total at the
following tournament in
Rocky Mountain… Also tied
for LCSC’s low score with a
70 in a dual against North
Idaho College… Was
consistently among the top
four scorers in the spring
portion and shot three
consecutive rounds of 76 or
better at the Westminster
tourney… Wound up second on
the team at the national
tournament…. After battling
for a varsity spot most of
his freshman season, Chris
came through his with three
solid rounds to win medalist
honors at LCSC’s home
portion of the Frontier
Conference Tournament with a
1-under-par 215… Stayed on
the traveling squad for the
rest of the season and was
one of five underclassmen to
represent the Warriors at
the Region I tournament… He
started out the fall of his
freshman year with a
fourth-place finish on the
team at the Montana Tech
Invitational, and was the
No. 5 scorer in the
conference tournament at
Carroll.
GOLF HIGHLIGHTS:
Taking first place at the
LCSC tournament as a
freshman... Played four
years at Mountain View High
School and helped team
finish second at both the
State and District
tournaments as a sophomore…
Team finished second at
districts both junior and
senior seasons and earned
berths to state tournament.
