Jennifer Sorensen, a four-time state qualifier for the Pullman High School golf team, has signed a letter-of-intent to play for the Lewis-Clark State College women’s golf team starting this fall, Warrior coach Paul Thompson has announced.
Sorenson had an outstanding prep career with the Greyhounds, helping the team place in the top 10 at state all four seasons. This past year, the Greyhounds were second in the Washington State Class 2A meet and Sorensen finished 11th overall. She also finished third in the district tournament and was second in the sub-district tournament to
Sorensen helped the Greyhounds win three Great Northern League titles. She placed third in the league tournament as a junior and tied for 24th at the state meet that year, which helped
Sorensen also played on the Hounds’ basketball team this year.
She is the third freshman to sign with LCSC this year, joining Dutton and Brooke Dagner of
The Warrior women’s golf team finished second in the Frontier Conference last season and lost two seniors from that squad, including two-time FC Player of the Year Cortney Shrout.
