The Lewis-Clark State College men’s golf team is ranked No. 12 in the Golf World/Nike Golf NAIA College Preseason Coaches’ Poll, which came out on Wednesday.
The Warriors are coming off their best finish ever at the NAIA National Tournament, where they finished fifth a year ago. The team returns three of its top five players from a year ago.
Oklahoma Christian, which won its second NAIA championship in three years last spring, is the No. 1 ranked team in thepoll. The Eagles won five times last season and finished outside the top two in just one event. The squad claimed eight of the 10 available first-place votes.
Oklahoma City is ranked second, while British Columbia is third.
LCSC is the only Frontier Conference team to receive votes.
