Lewis-Clark State College junior Shanna Herman has been named a 2012 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athlete for women’s golf, the NAIA announced on Thursday.
Herman, who is from Orofino, Idaho, was one of 105 women’s golfers to receive the honor. She is majoring in Kinesiology.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, have achieved a junior academic status, and have attended the nominating institution for two full semesters.
