7/2/2012

Morgan Scott, a standout multi-sport athlete at Columbus High School in Columbus, Mont., has signed a letter-of-intent to play for the Lewis-Clark State College women’s golf team, Warrior head coach Paul Thompson has announced.

Scott had a strong prep career at Columbus where she collected four varsity letters while helping the team to a fourth-place finish at state this past season and a third-place finish in 2009. As an individual, she finished second at state in 2012 and fifth in 2011.

Scott also earned two varsity letters in basketball as a guard and helped Columbus win the district title in 2012.

The incoming freshman plans to major in Business Administration at LCSC. She joins a Warrior program that has qualified for the NAIA national tournament six times in the last 10 seasons.
