CLARKSTON, Wash. – Led by medalist Rylee Iacolluci, the Lewis-Clark State College men’s golf team was victorious in a three-team contest at the Quail Ridge Golf Course on Saturday.
The Warriors finished with a one-round score of 284. Whitworth University ended up at 290, and Whitman College had a 314.
Iacolucci, a freshman from Cle Elum, Wash. and Cle Elum Roslyn High School, shot the best round of the day with a 67. Whitworth junior Jesse Salzwedel finished one stroke behind at 68.
Drew Reinland was second for the Warriors (tied for third overall) with a 70, while Jason Molner shot a 71 to claim the team’s third spot (fifth overall).
The Warriors will compete next at the North Idaho Invite in Spokane on Sept. 23-24.
