WHITEFISH, Mont. – Lewis-Clark State’s Idah Whisenant, a junior from Lewiston, was named the Frontier Conference’s Co-Golfer of the Week, as announced Monday by the league office.

Whisenant shared the award with Mari Hutsi of Westminster College after they tied atop the leaderboard at the Montana Tech Invitational. Both golfers shot a combined 231 in the three-round event.

Whisenant helped the Warriors to a No. 24 ranking in the final NAIA poll of 2011 and to within a hair of making the national tournament.
