The Lewis-Clark State College men’s tennis team is ranked No. 11 while the women’s team is ranked No. 15 in NAIA Preseason Top 25 polls, which were released this week. 

The Warrior men stand at 3-2 on the season heading into this weekend’s action. Although he’s excited by the men’s rankings, LCSC coach Kai Fong noted that California schools did not appear in the ranking because the Region did not submit ratings in time for consideration. Fong says there are five California schools good enough to be ranked in the Top 25, which could alter LCSC’s ranking in the first regular-season poll. 

The Warrior women are 1-1 on the season and just four points behind Shorter College of Georgia in the poll. 

Last season, the Warrior women finished No. 18 in the final poll, while the men were No. 20.
