Winning all but one match in straight sets, the Lewis-Clark State College men’s tennis team opened the season in a big way with a 9-0 win over Whitworth at the LCSC Tennis Center on Saturday.
The Warriors won five of six singles matches in straight sets and had Oliver Stone rally to win the final two sets of his match to complete the sweep.
LCSC also won all three doubles matches by identical 8-3 scores.
The Warrior men return to action on Saturday at home against both Whitman College at 9 a.m. and the University of Idaho at 1 p.m.
