The Lewis-Clark State College women’s team climbed two spots while the men’s team went up one spot in the first regular-season NAIA Tennis Coaches’ Top 25 polls, which were released on Tuesday.
The Warrior women are ranked No. 22, up from No. 24 in the preseason poll, while the men’s squad is ranked No. 17.
The women drew 111 points in this week’s poll, three ahead of No. 23 Georgetown of Kentucky. The Warrior men have 158 points, just five behind Webber International of Florida.
The Warrior men are back in action this week for three matches in Bozeman, Mont. On Friday, the Warriors face Seattle University at 9 a.m., and then Montana State University-Bozeman at 1 p.m. On Saturday, the Warriors face MSU-Billings at 1 p.m.
