Women fall to both Idaho and Seattle
MOSCOW – The Lewis-Clark State College women’s tennis team came up short against two NCAA Division I opponents, falling to both Seattle University and the University of Idaho by identical 6-1 scores on Sunday.
The Warrior, now 9-11 on the season, played against eight NCAA Division I opponents this season.
Against Seattle, Elaine Lee came up with the Warrior’s lone win, defeating Aya Sugimoto at No. 6 singles 6-0, 6-4.
Again Idaho, LCSC won two of the three doubles matches to claim the doubles point.
The Warriors are back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Spokane to take on Whitworth. Both the men and women will be in action at 2 p.m. against the Pirates.
