CHENEY – Megan Smedley and Samantha Teigen teamed up to score an 8-4 doubles victory to give Lewis-Clark State College its only win in a women’s tennis match against Eastern Washington on Friday.
It was the second loss of the day for the Warriors, who also fell to Washington State University 7-0.
The two matches against the NCAA Division I opponents marked the start of the season for LCSC. The Warriors will be back in action on Jan. 29 against Montana State-Bozeman in a 3 p.m. match at the Activity Center.
