Athletics - Lewis-Clark State

LEWISTON, Idaho – The Lewis-Clark State College women’s tennis team defeated Whitworth University 6-3 at the LCSC Tennis Center on Saturday.

In doubles, LCSC’s Dorothy Chong and Katharina Marsela won 8-5, while Chelsea Gay and Erica Norris won their match 8-6. Marsela, Ciara Schultz, Megan Smedley, and Elaine Lee were LCSC’s singles winners.

LCSC is now 1-4 on the season, with Saturday being its first match against a non-NCAA Division-I opponent. The Warriors’ next match will come against the University of Idaho at the Tennis Center on Tuesday.
