LEWISTON, Idaho – The Lewis-Clark State College men’s tennis team made quick work of the College of Idaho at the LCSC Tennis Center on Saturday. The Warriors topped the Coyotes 9-0 to win their fourth match in the last two days.
The Warriors won each singles set by at least 6-3 or better against the fellow NAIA school. Cesar Uauy (photo) won his match 6-0, 6-0 at No. 5, while Ivan Krijanto (playing at No. 1) and Jeff Lowndes (No. 6) lost only one game apiece.
This was the Warriors’ second straight contest against COI in as many days. On Friday, LCSC played three matches and defeated Montana State University-Billings twice by a score of 8-1 and also defeated the Coyotes 9-0.
The Warriors, ranked No. 23 in the NAIA, are now 7-9 on the season.
