LEWISTON, Idaho – Only picking up one victory in singles play, the Lewis-Clark State College women’s tennis team fell to Seattle University 5-2 in a match at the LCSC Tennis Center on Friday.
The Warriors, 6-9 overall, picked up a victory from Katharina Marsela at No. 1 singles, who won her match 7-5, 6-3. LCSC’s other victory on the day came at No. 3 doubles where Megan Smedley and Chelsea Gay rolled to an 8-1 victory against the NCAA Division I opponents.
The Warriors are back in action on Sunday when they travel to Spokane to take on Gonzaga at 10 a.m.
