Freshman Dominika Jasora picked up a pair of victories to highlight the day for the Lewis-Clark State College women’s tennis team as the Warriors fell to a pair of NCAA Division I opponents Saturday at the LCSC Activity Center.
The Warriors lost to Seattle University 5-2 and the University of Idaho 7-0.
NCAA rules give only one point for the three doubles matches and the Warriors won two of three doubles matches against Seattle to go ahead 1-0. Jasora teamed up with Dorothy Chong to score an 8-4 win, while Barbara Sneckner and Ciara Schultz also had an 8-4 win.
In singles play, however, Jasora was LCSC’s only winner with a 6-3, 6-3 triumph.
Against Idaho, the Warriors were swept although Jasora took her opponent to three sets.
