LEWISTON, Idaho – Dominika Jasova won at No. 1 singles but that was the only victory the Lewis-Clark State College women’s tennis team came away with against Eastern Washington University on Friday. The Warriors fell by a final score of 6-1.
Jasova, a 5-foot-11 freshman from Kosice, Slovakia, was the silver lining for the Warriors on Friday as she continues to standout early this season. Despite playing all three of her matches so far this year at No. 1, and the fact that all of them have been against NCAA Division I opponents, Jasova currently holds a record of 2-1. On Friday, she defeated her opponent 7-6, 6-3.
