The Lewis-Clark State College women’s tennis team made it a perfect weekend by sweeping the College of Idaho 9-0 on Sunday at the LCSC Tennis Center.
The Warriors, 2-4 overall, defeated Whitworth 6-3 on Saturday to post a 2-0 record for the week. LCSC’s match on Sunday was the first against non-NCAA competition.
The Warriors swept all six singles matches in straight sets and showed off their depth with a few players seeing varsity action for the first time this season.
Netti Dayhuff, playing at No. 5 singles, only lost one game in her singles match, while both Marina Wold and Loreto Ramos only lost two.
LCSC will be back in action on Friday at the University of Portland at noon.
