Dominika Jasova picked up wins in both singles and doubles play, but the Lewis-Clark State College women's tennis team still fell to Seattle University 5-2 in a match at the LCSC Tennis Center on Friday.
Jasova defeated Ariel Ohno at No. 1 singles 6-1, 6-3, and then combined with Dorothy Chong for an 8-2 win in doubles play.
Chelsea Gay picked up a wild 7-5, 5-7, 13-11 win at No. 6 singles for LCSC's other triumph in the match.
It's the second time LCSC has fallen to Seattle by the same 5-2 score.
LCSC is now 3-6 on the season with all six losses to NCAA Division I teams. The Warriors will try for their first win against D-I competition on Saturday when it plays host to the University of Montana at 1 p.m.
