LEWISTON, Idaho – The Lewis-Clark State College women’s tennis team fell to the University of Montana on Saturday afternoon. The NCAA Division-I Grizzlies blanked the NAIA Warriors 7-0.
LCSC was swept in straight sets in all of their singles matches with the exception of No. 1 in which Domika Jasova took the first set but was overcome 4-6, 6-3, 6-2.
Playing at No. 1, Jasova and Dorothy Chong came the closest to pulling out a win for the Warriors at doubles as they lost by a final score of 8-6.
The Warriors are now 3-7 on the year as they look to one of their most important and arduous weeks of the regular season coming up next week. They’ll travel to California to face Azusa Pacific on Monday, Point Loma on Tuesday, Vanguard on Thursday, and then Biola on Friday.
