SPOKANE - Dominika Jasova and Chelsea Gay both picked up victories, but the Gonzaga women's tennis team was too much for Lewis-Clark State as the Zags defeated the Warriors 5-2 on Sunday at the Spokane Racquet Club.
Jasova, played at No. 1 singles, scored a 6-2, 6-1 victory, while Gay, at No. 6 singles, rallied to claim a 4-6, 6-4, 10-7 win.
LCSC falls to 4-8 overall, while Gonzaga is 8-9. The Warrior women will be back in action for the NAIA National Qualifying Tournament on April 19-20 in Oklahoma City.
