The 22nd annual Fazzari’s Tennis Tournament will take place on Aug. 27-29 at the Lewis-Clark State College Tennis Center and the Clarkston High School tennis courts.
The event, which is a fundraiser for the LCSC tennis program, features several categories for both adults and children. Participants are limited to two events. The entry fee is $20 for one event or $33 for two.
Each participant will receive a T-shirt and can expect to play at least two matches per event per day. Each match consists of two sets and a 10 point tie-breaker (first to one to 10 points and ahead by a margin of at least two) will be used instead of a regular third set in all draws. Smaller events that feature four or less participants may be combined with another event to form a bigger draw.
Winners and finalists will receive sports prizes, trophies, or gift certificates, and photos of winners and finalists will appear on the tournament website.\\
Entry deadline is midnight on Aug. 22 and tournament play will start at 9 a.m. on Aug. 28.

Tournament categories for men and women include Class C Singles, Class C Doubles, Class B Singles, Class B Doubles, Open Doubles, Women’s Open Singles, Open Mixed Doubles, and Intermediate Mixed Doubles. Youth categories for boys and girls include 12-Under Singles, 15-Under Singles, 18-Under Singles, Mixed 12-Under Doubles, Mixed 15-Under Doubles, and Mixed 18-Under Doubles.
