LCSC: Had a strong first year in the program and played No. 2-6 singles throughout the year… Played at No. 5 singles at the end of the season and picked up a critical win in the Warriors’ opening round match against St. Thomas University at the NAIA national tournament… Posted an 11-11 record in singles play and three losses came in the third-set tiebreaker… Had three victories over NCAA Division I opponents… Played almost exclusively at No. 2 doubles… Went 6-6 in doubles play over his final 12 matches… Was 7-15 overall in doubles action.

BEFORE LCSC: Attended College of the Desert in Palm Desert, Calif., for one season and helped the team to the state championship as well as the Southcoast Conference title… Cesar served as captain of the team, which won the state dual team title as well as the Ojai dual team championship.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Liceo para adultos Aberlardo Nunez and graduated in December of 2007. Played tennis for coach Robinson Gamona at the ZK Club in Santiago.

PERSONAL: Born Dec. 31, 1989, to parents Patricio Uauy and Cecilia Anania in Santiago, Chile… Has one sister Catalina Uauy… Lists playing video games and spending time with friends as his hobbies, and also enjoys listening to Chilean and R&B music... Has a 3.3 GPA in college… Is majoring in Business at LCSC with interest in Economics.
