PULLMAN, Wash. – The Lewis-Clark State College women’s tennis team was defeated by Washington State University 7-0 on Thursday.
Dominka Jasova and Dorothy Chong put up a struggle in the No. 1 doubles match but ended up falling 8-4.
In singles, Jasova’s match at No. 1 proved to be one of the more competitive contests. WSU’s Luidmila Vasilieva, ranked No. 101 in D-I, won by a final score of 6-4, 6-1.
After facing two NCAA Division-I opponents to start the season, the Warriors stand at 0-2.
