LCSC tennis teams remain No. 16 and No. 19
2/21/2012

Both Lewis-Clark State College tennis teams held steady in the first regular-season editions of the NAIA Tennis Coaches’ Top 25 polls, which were released by the national office on Tuesday. The Warrior women stayed at No. 16 and the Warrior men held at No. 19.

The LCSC women garnered 160 points in the poll after receiving 130 points in the preseason poll. The team is currently on a three match win streak and stands at 3-7 overall, with all seven losses coming against NCAA Division I schools.

The Warrior men, which currently hold a 4-1 record, earned 122 points in the poll, up from the 103 they received in the previous edition.

Only the LCSC women’s team will be in action this week. The Warriors will face the University of Idaho at home on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.

The next polls will be released on March 6.
