The Lewis-Clark State College tennis teams did not move in the latest NAIA Tennis Coaches’ Top 25 polls, released by the national office on Tuesday. For the third straight poll, the Warrior women remained at No. 14 and the men stay at No. 24.
The LCSC women’s team, 7-12 overall, received 199 points after garnering 197 points in the previous poll two weeks ago. The Warrior men, 8-7, received 74 points in this week’s poll after getting 69 in poll before.
The men’s team is coming off of a solid 7-2 victory over Whitman College on Saturday. The win snapped a 19-match win streak for Whitman which is ranked No. 8 in the NCAA Division III national ranks and is 19-4 on the year.
The Warrior women have two matches remaining and the men have one before both teams head to Oklahoma City for the NAIA national qualifying tournament on April 26-28.
The next polls will be released on May 1.
