LCSC's Jasova and Chong garner NAIA All-American honors

LCSC's Dominika JasovaLewis-Clark State College women’s tennis players Dominika Jasova and Dorothy Chong were named NAIA All-Americans, the national office has announced. Jasova was named to the First Team, while Chong was listed on the Second Team.
 
Jasova (pictured left), a sophomore from Kosice, Slovakia, played as the Warriors’ No. 1 for the second straight season and was ranked as the No. 10 singles player in the NAIA according to the ITA rankings. Last year she earned second-team honors. Chong, a junior from Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, held down the No. 2 singles spot most of the year for LCSC.
 
LCSC's Dorothy ChongJasova and Chong (pictured right) also played doubles together and were ranked as the No. 11 doubles team in the ITA’s NAIA rankings. Their efforts helped the Warriors advance to the second round at the national tournament.
 
National champion Auburn Montgomery (Ala.) and semifinalist Fresno Pacific (Calif.) tied for the most All-Americans with four apiece.
 
The 2012 All-America list is composed of 15 seniors, five juniors, eight sophomores and four freshmen.
